Jody Karlin is
available to lecture to your Master Gardener group, or any other
club, on conifers, japanese maples and ponds. In 2007, he has
already spoken at the State Botanical Garden on pond construction
and care, and hosted the Atlanta Koi Club here in our garden on the
same subject. Schedule a tour for your group here in our
garden, or an on-site lecture can be scheduled with advance notice.

One of our favorite private gardens to visit is the Cox
Arboretum in Canton. Since 1990, Tom and Evelyn Cox have
filled their 13 acres with over 2000 of the finest specimens
with a focus on plant evaluation and preservation of rare and
endangered flora. One of their goals is to help develop a
public appreciation and enlightenment of plants.
Tom Cox is the current National
President of the American Conifer Society and frequently
lectures at ACS events. Evelyn is the editor of the
society's magazine, The Conifer Quarterly .
Please check
their website at

event. |

Japanese
Maples

and
The Manual of Woody
Landscape Plants
by Michael A. Dirr
